This Privacy Policy describes how Daniel Pelikan ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Prontafon mobile application (the "App").
We are committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your children. We believe in transparency, which is why we want to be clear: Prontafon does not collect, store, or share any personal information from its users.
1. Information Collection and Use
We do not collect any personal data, usage data, or device identifiers. You do not need to create an account to use the App, and we do not track your activity.
2. App Permissions and Features
To function correctly, the App requires access to certain features on your device. However, this access is used solely for the App's functionality and not for data collection.
- Microphone & Speech Recognition: The App uses the microphone to capture voice commands. This audio is processed using Google's built-in Speech Recognition service to convert speech into text. We do not record, store, or transmit this audio to our own servers.
- Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Communication: The App communicates with a specific companion service running on your computer via Bluetooth Low Energy. This communication is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and happens directly between your phone and computer. Note: An active internet connection is required on the phone for speech-to-text processing.
3. Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. Our App is designed for users of all ages, including children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or applicable age in your region). Since the App does not collect any data whatsoever, it is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regarding children's data.
The App does not contain any third-party advertising, analytics, or in-app purchases.
4. Third-Party Services
While we do not collect data, the App utilizes the Android operating system's native capabilities (specifically Google Speech Services). The processing of voice data is governed by Google's privacy policy and your device settings.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
